| A Poetry Therapy Training Workshop: Your Deep Ocean-Self
Rumi used the word "Awareness" in his poem "Cup" and said "Pour . . . into your deep-ocean self." Response to the written and spoken word is at the core of this three-session workshop of writing, sharing and reflection. Newcomers and trainees are invited to join small developmental poetry groups and accumulate peer hours towards certification. These sessions are designed to invigorate and inspire you while you experience being a member of a poetry therapy peer group. We will experiment with various facilitation techniques, learn about the poetry therapy group process and have an opportunity to share ideas and experiences.
